Jada and Chloe
I had been wanting to scrap these pictures for a long time but I just couldn’t find a real reason to scrap a full 12×12 layout. So, a mini was a fun way to scrap them separately.

Today I came across your mini album on Jada and Chloe and I took heart. Over the years I have found the hobby of scrapbooking become so commercialised that I feel the original idea just about forgotten until I saw your mini album – beautiful. The gadgets that are sold to hobbyists to gain that “perfect” look …that perfect cut…defeats the purpose of a hand made product with added personal touches. There are so many techniques, colours and textures of products that, added to one’s imagination, can create wonderful pages without the need for a whole range of expensive gadgets which are designed to take “the handmade” look away from finished product.
Scrapbooking, like handmade cards, are part of oneself shared with others…..if you want to make it look like a commercial product…buy the card or get your memories published in book form. Recently, I saw this option offered also. Many thanks for sharing this great mini album…your love shows through.

Thank you so much Maureen! I agree completely. The more ‘commercial’ something looks, the less ‘from the heart’ it seems. It also ads a lot of stress when you try to make everything ‘polished perfect’. I’m glad you enjoyed this mini album.
